FAQs
What should I expect during a session?
1
Each session begins with a brief welcome and body awareness meditation to help you settle. You’ll then lie down (or sit comfortably if you prefer), close your eyes, and experience a continuous sound journey.
There’s nothing you need to do. Many people experience deep relaxation, others notice thoughts drifting, emotions surfacing, or a quiet alertness. Every response is welcome. The session ends with gentle chimes and percussion to bring you back to awareness, with time to reorient before leaving.
No prior experience is needed.
What should I wear and bring?
2
Wear comfortable clothing and bring warm layers because body temperature can drop as you relax.
Please bring a yoga mat, blanket and anything that helps you feel supported (pillow, cushion, eye mask). I recommend using a cushion or jumper to support under the knees. You may also like to bring water.
Arriving 5–10 minutes early allows time to settle before we begin.
What instruments will I hear?
3
I primarily use Himalayan singing bowls and crystal bowls, creating layered, resonant tones that gently fill the space.
Sessions also include subtle percussion and guiding instruments to add texture and movement. Occasionally, I may introduce other instruments such as gong or voice.
What if I can’t switch off?
4
That’s completely ok.
There is no right way to experience a soundbath. You don’t need to empty your mind or “achieve” relaxation. Simply being there and listening is enough.
Even if your mind remains active, the body can still settle, and the nervous system can still respond. Many people notice the effects more clearly afterwards, in steadiness of mood, mental clarity, or deeper sleep.
